Most of people believe that the main mission of angels protect their children from harm and danger and it seems to be an imagined aspect coming from catholic piety but guardian angels are not just for children, their mission and role in the earth is to represent people before God, to watch over them within their life, to help their prayer and to present their souls to God after death.
In medieval angelology angels constituted the lowest of the nine celestial orders - Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones dominations or dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities or Princedoms, Archangels and Angels and each individual interested in how to find out about his own Guardian angel. Developing of the devotion to the angels started with the birth of the monastic tradition when St. Benedict gave it impulse and the great 12th-century reformer Bernard of Clairvaux, was such an eloquent spokesman for the guardian angels that angelic devotion became its current form in his day.
Every individual has his guardian angel but we are too busy for hearing them as guardian angels have politeness not to intervene in our lives but when we're in danger they will do everything to protect us and bring us God's message. If we catch this message we will be out of danger. If you want to get a clear message from your angel you must ask him a direct and concise question in loud voice and your angel will always hear and answer you as clear questions can get you clear answers.
But if you answer a stupid question you will get a silly answer because universe will match your level of sincerity and if you ask an angel honest question you will get an honest answer. It's also very important for you to be prepared to listen to your guardian angel be alert for its side of the conversation, then the universe will extend itself to answer your sincere questions, but only if you are listening. Many people are skeptics, they want to believe in guardian angels but doubt that angels exist.
If you believe in your gaurdian angel he will be happy to provide you with evidence of its existence and it the angel is real he will expect you to ask for proof, and will provide you with straight answers. Here's a short story and evidence that my angel provided me. It was few years ago. I also was very skeptic and doubt if angels exist. I was in my work place when my closest friend called me from hospital and asked to come there. Her voice was very strange and worried.
When her little son was at school the doctor made a wrong injection and he felt into an allergic shock. He was in one step from the death. When I came there she was in tears and told me that doctors lose any hope to help him. It was the first time when I started to pray and ask all angels in the world to save the life of this innocent child. Suddenly I saw the shining light looking like a sparkling diamond and my heart filled up with hope.
I thought it was my imagination but a few days later the child was at home with his happy family.
