spiritual gifts

The phrase, spiritual gifts, comes from the Greek phrase chrismata or Charisma, and means "a gift of grace" but in the New Testament, the word describes supernatural abilities given to people in the Body of Christ.

As a special gift of God's grace as Lord Jesus Christ gave to the Christians a "favor" or a "special gift" to do and empower the work of ministry on behalf of him. Gift can be a reminder of our dependence upon God. It's not earning of each individual it just given to each one by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of ministry and God's glory. In the church Spiritual Gifts are one of two areas of ministry and the first area includes the "assigned offices" of leadership roles such as ministers, elders, deacons and the second area of ministry in the Church is the "Spiritual Gifts" which are abilities to do a specific function in ministry, to glorify Christ with the display of the attributes of Christ's character and strengthens the Church which includes teachers for minister or mercy who visit the sick and etc.

These abilities directly assigned to each Believer and all of these Gifts synchronically build upon one another and forms the operational ministry of the Church. Owing this fact people become Christ's hands and feet in the world. Each person have such abilities he just need to find develop, and exercise the Gifts given to him. There are over 20 Gifts such as mercy, teaching, pastoral care, leadership and etc. These gifts giving people an opportunity to work with one another through the leading spirit. When people refuse to find and develop their gifts first they hurt themselves then each other and God and existence of the Holy Spirit.

Ignoring these spiritual gifts can attract the Satan and evil force who does not want to discover the Gifts he just wants people to deny their responsibility and nurture of one another. For developing these abilities you need to practice and train. Training is a formal method of teaching someone what they need to know in the best and most pleasant, encouraging, and fun way possible or it's the growth and learning in the area of a task that needs to be finished in the church to further the Kingdom of God, such as a program, service, or need. And for this there are three areas such as formal class, mentoring and coaching.

Beginning of the training can be started from primary tasks which involve and equip people to serve God. The class and interested people also needed. Very important from the beginning to analyze skills and gifts that are needed by listing what is and what could be involved and talking with several people who do the ministry well then asking them about other churches in case to get more information. Good training and coaching also involves good listening and questions in discussion and interactions of each person are also very important. Good questions must be brief, focused, clear, constructive, relevant, open-ended and etc.
